Itinerary

1
Day 1: Arrival – Hotel Transfer – Yerevan City Tour – Dinner & Evening Walk

Arrival in Yerevan. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to Aya Maria Spa Resort, a cozy resort complex located in the picturesque village of Dzoraghbyur, surrounded by the mountain landscapes of the Kotayk region, just a few kilometers from the capital.

Check-in at the hotel. Free time to relax after the flight and prepare for your introduction to Armenia.

In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Yerevan, one of the world's oldest cities. Visit Republic Square, the heart of the Armenian capital, surrounded by magnificent government buildings and museums. Stroll along the modern Northern Avenue to the famous Cascade Complex, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the majestic biblical Mount Ararat. During the tour, you will discover Yerevan's rich history, culture, architecture, and modern lifestyle.

The day continues with a visit to the legendary ARARAT Brandy Factory, where you will learn the secrets of producing the world-famous Armenian brandy and take part in a tasting of its finest varieties.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a traditional Armenian restaurant, where you will experience the richness of Armenian cuisine and the country's renowned hospitality.

After dinner, you will have the opportunity to take a walk through evening Yerevan, admire its beautifully illuminated streets, and enjoy the famous Dancing Fountains show at Republic Square, creating one of the most memorable evenings in the Armenian capital.

Day 2: Yerevan – Yell Extreme Park – Apaga Resort (overnight in Yenokavan)

After breakfast, departure from Yerevan towards Tavush Province — one of the most picturesque regions of Armenia, known for its dense forests, mountain gorges, and crystal-clear air. Our journey leads to the village of Yenokavan, nestled among green slopes and stunning natural landscapes.

Here you will visit Yell Extreme Park — the largest outdoor adventure and active recreation center in Armenia. Thrill-seekers can enjoy unforgettable experiences such as ziplining over a scenic gorge, trying Via Ferrata routes, going on an off-road adventure, or choosing a peaceful horseback ride. The park perfectly combines modern attractions with respect for the unique nature of the Tavush mountains, offering something for everyone.

After a full day of activities, we continue to Apaga Resort, a mountain retreat located on the edge of a picturesque gorge with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding forests and mountains.

Check-in at the hotel. Free time to relax, walk around the resort area, enjoy the silence, fresh mountain air, and the stunning landscapes that make this part of Armenia truly special.

Day 3: Yenokavan – Lori – “Zarni-Parni” – Debed River Rafting – Akhtala – Overnight in Lori

Departure from Yenokavan towards the northern part of Armenia — the picturesque Lori region, known for its deep gorges, green mountains, and rich historical heritage.

Visit to the natural-historical complex “Zarni-Parni” — a unique site where ancient caves and rocky formations blend harmoniously with breathtaking canyon views. Here you can explore the region’s history while enjoying an atmosphere of ancient nature. Lunch.

Continue the journey with an exciting rafting experience on the Debed River. The rafting route passes through stunning mountain landscapes, offering participants vivid emotions, adrenaline, and unforgettable memories.

Visit to the Akhtala Monastery — one of Armenia’s most famous medieval monastic complexes, renowned for its frescoes, fortress-like architecture, and rich history.

End of the day — overnight stay at Kefilyan Family Hotel, surrounded by mountains, silence, and fresh air, far from the city noise.

Day 4: Lori – Gyumri

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Gyumri — the cultural capital of Armenia and the country’s second-largest city, located in the picturesque Shirak Valley. This distinctive city charms visitors with its unique black and red tuff stone architecture, rich historical heritage, the special humor of its locals, and the unforgettable atmosphere of old Armenia.

During a walking tour of the historic center of Gyumri, you will see beautifully preserved 19th-century mansions, cozy squares, and narrow streets filled with local character. We will visit Vardanants Square — the heart of the city, surrounded by majestic churches and historic buildings reflecting the region’s centuries-old history.

Gyumri is rightfully considered a city of art and creativity. It is home to numerous museums and cultural centers. During the tour, we will visit the Mher Mkrtchyan House-Museum, dedicated to the life and legacy of the famous Armenian actor and director, as well as the Aslamazyan Sisters Museum, honoring outstanding Armenian female artists whose works are known far beyond the country’s borders.

After a rich sightseeing program, enjoy lunch at one of the city’s best restaurants, where you can taste traditional Shirak cuisine and experience local gastronomic traditions.

Day 5: Gyumri – Yerevan – Vernissage – Central Market – Etchmiadzin – Zvartnots – Airport Transfer

After breakfast, departure to Yerevan. In the first half of the day, visit the famous Vernissage — the largest fair of folk art and crafts in Armenia. Here you can feel the true Armenian spirit, discover the work of local artisans, and purchase unique souvenirs such as silver and wooden изделия, ceramics, handmade carpets, and traditional jewelry.

Next, we visit the Central Market of Yerevan — a true paradise for food lovers. It offers aromatic dried fruits, nuts, spices, herbs, sweets, and other traditional Armenian delicacies for which the country is famous.

Depending on flight time, a visit to Echmiadzin is included — the spiritual center of Armenia and the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians. Here stands the Echmiadzin Cathedral, considered the first state Christian cathedral in the world. You will also visit the Treasury Museum, which preserves priceless Christian relics, including fragments of the Holy Cross, sacred apostolic relics, and unique ecclesiastical artifacts.

After the excursion program, transfer to the airport and departure home with the warmest memories of Armenia.
