About This Tour
The journey begins from Yerevan and leads to the azure expanses of Lake Sevan — a high-altitude lake rightly called the “blue pearl” of Armenia. On the picturesque peninsula stands the ancient Sevanavank Monastery (9th century), offering breathtaking views of the endless water surface and mountain horizons.
Next, the road takes you into the green embrace of Tavush, through the forests of the Dilijan Reserve, to the cozy resort town of Dilijan — the “Armenian Switzerland.” A walk through its old streets, filled with a calm and cozy atmosphere, and free time for lunch create a feeling of peaceful relaxation. Optionally, you can take part in a master class on making traditional aromatic gata pastry.
Among dense forests, in a mountain river gorge, the monastic complex of Haghartsin appears as if hidden from the outside world — a place of silence, harmony, and extraordinary natural beauty.
The journey continues to the medieval Goshavank Monastery (12th–14th centuries), famous for its elegant architecture and finely carved khachkars. Here, every stone preserves the breath of centuries, and the ancient walls tell stories of scholarship and spirituality.
Return to Yerevan with vivid impressions and a sense of connection with the living history and nature of Armenia.
